Cozy queen room when we arrived, really tidy. The staff was super nice and the breakfast was absolutely amazing. The location is great - right near a cool historic area and with a big beautiful garden. 🌳

Our stay was absolutely mind-blowing! The host, Lindsay, was super friendly and had a genuine interest in chatting with us. The cozy and quiet atmosphere made for a jaw-dropping experience. Plus, the included breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The location was perfect with easy access to trains and buses. And to top it off, there was a big Tesco supermarket just a 5-minute walk away. The field across the house was perfect for our happy dog to run around. We can't wait to come back soon and thank Lindsay for an incredible stay! I recently stayed at a charming bed and breakfast for a few days. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating. Not only did he allow me to bring my golden retriever puppy, but he also had adorable kittens and a friendly little dog on the property. The large garden was a lovely bonus. The breakfast provided was absolutely amazing, with generous portions that lasted me through lunch and dinner. I highly recommend this place and cannot thank the host enough for their warm hospitality. 5 stars.

There were no interesting sites in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, but we found it was conveniently located near a train station and a large supermarket. On the downside, the room we stayed in was quite small for the price we paid.

We had a great stay at Caledonia House. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The early breakfast was a wonderful perk and the beds were comfortable. Though there were a few minor inconveniences, like having to go two doors down to shower and the lack of toiletries and locks on the bedroom doors, they didn't greatly impact our stay.
